Note: The elective courses may be taken in departments outside of East Asian Languages and Cultures. The minor does not include a language requirement. However, one semester of an East Asian language class may be used to fulfill one of the three electives, as long as at least two semesters of that language have been taken. Placement exams may not be used in place of these courses.
